ARTIST STATEMENT   My work reflects an intimate interaction with my rural Maine

environs in combination with personal metaphors.  As a conceptual artist working in installation

and mixed media, I use photography to document outdoor site work.  My painting and

collage are inspired by the layers of textures and color found in spirit and in nature. I particularly

love the process of design.
